Refunds & Exchanges General Information

You have 7 business days from receipt of your item to return it back to us for a refund or an exchange.  Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.  All returns must be sent back in unworn condition with the original order number and/or item number.  Please also include your email address and/or phone number in case we have a question regarding your return.  In addition, please include the reason for the return (i.e. too big).  All of this information is extremely important.  Failure to include this information may delay or prevent us from properly processing your return.

PLEASE NOTE: We guarantee that we will send you the item that we describe, but we do not guarantee that the shoes will fit your feet.  If in fact we did make a mistake sending you the wrong pair of shoes, we will rectify the situation, either getting you the correct item, or processing a refund including shipping charges.  We will require that the incorrect item be sent back to us first for inspection.

Refund Returns

A return for a refund will be processed for the original purchase price minus the shipping charges with the applicable taxes.  Your refund will be processed through the original method of payment.  For example, if you paid using your Visa card, the refund will be credited to that Visa card.

Exchange Returns

We will process exchange returns for a different item of the exact style/color either one size up or one size down, based upon availability.  Please keep in mind that our inventory fluctuates rapidly and frequently we do not have all sizes available.  If you would like a completely different item, it must be processed as two separate transactions (a refundable return, and a new purchase).  You must include a $10 cheque for return shipping (other shipping options are available for an upcharge).  If a cheque does not accompany an exchange request, it will be processed as a normal refundable return.  If the item you are requesting is not available when your exchange return is received, we will destroy the check, notify you of the status, and process a refund.  While not necessary, you may email us at services@shoefans.net  to find out if an exchange is available.

After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, we will process your return/exchange request within 5 business days.  It can then take as much as 1 more business day for a refund to be processed or for the exchange to be shipped out.

No refund or exchange on sale merchandise unless defect from factory has been verified.
